*Avoid talking or singing loudly for a prolonged period of time
*Give your vocal cord ample rest particularly so when you are nursing a sore throat or a cough
*Always warm up your voice before you sing
*Stay hydrated, besides drinking water, we can also obtain water from vegetables and fruits. Too much coffee or tea
is not good because they are dehydrating.
*Have sufficient rest. An adult needs an average of 6-8 hours of sleep. Insufficient sleep leads not only harms your
body, your voice will be affected too.
