Why do we go off pitch when we sing?

*We are not hearing our selves. Either the music is overpowering our voices or there may be no proper monitor to support us. The monitor acts as a personal pitching reference.

*Oftentimes insufficient breathing is one of the most common reason for our pitching problem.

*We may not be focusing.

*We may be too nervous or tense.

*We may be too tired.

*We may not be hearing the music when we are singing.
